The biggest legend of Indian nation

Bhagat Singh, one of the biggest legend of Indian nation. He was the one of the brave man, who completely sacrifices his life for his nation. He died for his nation happily. So on the remembrance of Shaheed Bhagat Singh every year in the nation of India his jayanti is celebrated on 23 March. He was born in a sikh family in banga on 27th September 1907 to Kishan Singh and Vidyavati.

His family too was involved in struggling for freedom. He was a national hero who gave a new wave to the revolutionary movement in India. His only goal in life was the destruction of British Empire. Bhagat Singh came into contact with some well-known political leaders like Lala Lajpat Rai and Ras Bihari Bose While studying at the local D.A.V. School in Lahore, in 1916. He was deeply influenced and disturbed when Jalianwala Bagh massacre took place in 1919 and 12 years of age.

In February 1928, a committee from England, called Simon Commission visited India, and with his bad behavior Indians decided to boycott Simon Commission. He protested against Simon Commission in Lahore where Lajpat Rai died due to intense laathi charge. He shot down Assistant Superintendent Saunders instead, mistaking him for Scott. On April 8, 1929 Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bombs in the Central Assembly Hall while the Assembly was in session. Bhagat Singh and his associates, Sukh Dev and Raj Guru were hanged in the early hours of March 23, 1931. Though dead, Bhagat Singh is still living in the history of humanity and remembered as a prominent face of the freedom struggle. He is the true motivation to young India. Jai hind.
