agriculture is quite appropriate in various areas around the globe. Demands of
milk will never reduce, it will increase gradually with increase in population
growth.
Punjab government has given an idea of
rearing indigenous cow breeds such as Sahiwal and Gir. Sahiwal is a breed of Zebu cattle which is used in dairy production. It should be maintained regularly and help to regulate grazing. Sahiwal is one of the best dairy breeds which is
loved for its ability to give high quality of milk with high butter fat
content.
Today, modern dairy cows are reared specifically to produce large quantities of milk which has
so much of advantages such as increase in milk production, Carting ,
tilling and irrigation . When cattle is reared and are allowed to graze which
is most beneficial to humans as well as the environment. It leads to man-made grain diets. Reduced
tillage helps to conserve soil health and quality, water conservation often due
to better irrigation monitoring and Biodiversity is better maintained with
planned grazing systems.
It doesn’t pollute the environment, it is an
eco-friendly. It should be taken good care of cattle and management can ensure
maximum profits. It is the great source of income and employment for the
unemployed educated young. There are numerous highly productive dairy cows
available throughout the world. It is a
profitable business all over the world. For running a successful dairy cow
farming business, always take good care of your animal. It's
absolutely a part of agriculture or animal husbandry. To encourage cattle farmers rearing these cows, the State
government would honour them with cash award besides giving them certificates.
