Promise for the Better Life


Everyone wants to live in a place where he can breathe and get the blessing of nature of their own. Poor are unable to get these blessings of their own house. Punjab government have promised to build 1lakh houses for the poor and needy by this year. It is also said that this project would be completed in 5 years.To provide affordable houses Sukhbir Badal is doing alot for Punjab and its people. It will help create a special fund to help states in providing affordable housing. According to the policy government would also provide housing loan to individual in the state. It will not only help the poor but also help in raising the standard of living. It will help to lower middle income group.

Food grain production in India is increasing every year. So, the government has declared the creation of steel silos for storage of food grains in the state. To concrete for storage of food grains or other materials in monitored. It will result to make proper use and strong distribution network. The cabinet also approved to amend Punjab Dairy Development in order to increase milk production. In order to the approval to dispose of 1509 varieties of paddy procured by the agencies during kharif season. The committee is to set up of own Pharmacy in the Institute will have the better results.

To conclude they said that if agencies are unable to achieve the target then the Punjab government will compensate them for the difference of price.

Bed plantation for increasing productivity of potatoes


Farmers have claimed of harvesting less yield of potato during this extreme winter season, a progressive farmer of Jai Singh Wala village claimed to have harvested a better crop this time using a bed plantation technique at his farm. Bed plantation is a novel technique to use multiple land use. Which is targeted at least double potato earning .As the potatoes grow, add more soil until the bed is filled for increasing its productivity. Growing more food in less land will raise the standard of living of people.

Agriculture growth has brought new short statured varieties that required high input use that witnessed high input use that included fertilizers, irrigation and pesticides. Now the new development is witnessing the evolution of new type of GM crops for conserving technologies for the development efficient use of inputs and conservation of natural resources has become more important than ever. There may be an opportunity to farmers to diversify within this cropping system. 

The furrow irrigated bed planting system provided an opportunity to diversify cropping system by making the multiple land use possible. It is also the most convenient cropping system as most of field operations are mechanized or done by hired labour. Bed planting can help creating an advantage to introduce inter cropping the multiple land use which will take care of the losses in the profit margins and will lead to saving of water resources, as well as energy and labour at the same time. To encourage profitable diversification it has shown the promise of maximum productivity and water saving with minimum land use. Bed planting can prove to contribute to the success of each crop by achieving a substantial surge in the earning as well.

GOVERNMENT HELPING FARMERS TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE


India is an agricultural country. About seventy percent of our population depends on agriculture. One-third of our National income comes from agriculture. Our economy is based on agriculture. The development of agriculture has much to do with the economic welfare of our country. Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy.

India lives in villages and agriculture is the soul of Indian economy. India has the highest percentage of land under cultivation in the world. It is the main source of earning livelihood of the people. Large number of the population is also engaged in agro-based activities. Agriculture meets the foods requirements of large population of India. It ensures food security for the country. The productivity of the land has increased through the years. Punjab government has developed some of the techniques which the developed countries have been using for advanced agriculture technologies.

Punjab chief minister approved the modalities to establish farmers’ advisory body, Punjab Kisan Vikas Chamber (PKVC), so that farmers can have a tell and share their views related to agricultural activities in the policies and programmes . The state government would initially give funds to run the chamber till it became fully self-sustainable. It will provide better results for farmers to sort all agricultural issues. This would help the chamber contest their claims vigorously with the central and state governments in a meaningful and result-oriented manner.


Agriculture pattern is changing are gradually growing more importance in line with domestic demands and export requirements. Farmers have been provided assistance for owning agricultural activities. Government is taking every manner to promote rural development.

Installation of dryers for increase in production of maize




Maize is indigenous plant. It is also called corn, which is an important food crop of poor people in the Great Plains and in the hilly and of the Northern part. It is also used for making glucose and starch. Maize is the third largest planted crop after wheat and rice. It is an important food staple. Maize is a multi-seasonal crop i.e. it is harvested in both rabi and kharif season. It feeds businesses the most profitable are poultry-feed from maize and ethanol from maize stover.

For increasing in the productivity of kharif maize, the Punjab  government has lead an event organizing  for making timely arrangement of hybrid seeds of high production of varieties to the farmers.

The State Government has fixed a target to bring 2 lakh hectares under kharif maize in Punjab for providing with the additional source of income to the farmers. To maintain proper moisture for maize production government have taken an excellent steps. For the increase production of maize the Punjab Government has installed seven big dryers and small dryers costing in the state at a total cost of Rs 52.85 crore and Rs 6 lakh each respectively. They are also being provided to villages to farmers on 50% subsidy and selected a total of 70 blocks in 14 districts. In this way we would be utilizing whole of the maize plant material and providing the farmers with a much better returns that what they are getting at present. The land area devoted to maize production has also increased significantly higher. There is a lot of growth production of land cultivation. And generally reducing the risk to farmers caused by climate change.

Providing better health facilities to farmers


Farmers who raise their animals on pasture enjoy a number of benefits including being able to raise their families in a peaceful environment and eat nutritious, all-natural food. We need food to survive. A farmer grows food grains, vegetables, fruits and pulses. We get to eat food because the farmer grows it for us. Therefore, a farmer plays a major role for the benefit of the society. He continues to work from morning to evening. For him, rain, cold or suns do not matter much.

The farmer is honest and hardworking person. He is one of the most important members of society. A farmer’s life becomes all the more pitiable when his crops fail. Since the farmers are poor, they borrow huge money from the money-lenders at high interest. He hopes to pay back the money earned from his crops. we should support our farmers to strengthens our community. The Punjab government will give  compensation of Rs 5 lakh in case of the death of the head of the family or in the case of any eventuality causing 100 per cent disability to that person. Thousands of  families  survive with help of farming.

Punjab Government has launched 'Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojana' scheme under which cashless health care services will be provided to eligible farmers. It will have a great effect on Punjab economy. Punjab government is doing a great job for its peace and harmony. We salute the true feelings of their true feelings.
